We are seeking a highly experienced and motivated professional to lead branch operations and manage regional Customs Clearance and Freight Forwarding activities. The role involves driving sales, developing new business opportunities, ensuring operational excellence, and delivering superior customer service. Key Responsibilities Sales & Business Development Generate sales from new and existing customers and achieve monthly and annual branch sales targets. Expand the customer base and increase overall market share in the region. Work closely with the Sales team to meet targets assigned by the management. Focus on all lines of business including Freight Forwarding, Customs Brokerage, and route/vertical development. Develop new business opportunities to enhance gross margins and revenue. Concentrate on target accounts and acquire new strategic business. Freight Forwarding Operations Oversee end-to-end Freight Forwarding operations for both import and export shipments. Ensure timely booking, coordination with carriers, airlines, shipping lines, and transporters. Monitor shipment planning, execution, and delivery as per customer requirements. Ensure cost optimization, competitive pricing, and timely documentation (BL, AWB, DO, etc.). Coordinate with overseas agents, global partners, and networks to support routing and service commitments. Customs Clearance Operations Take full responsibility for the performance of regional Customs Clearance activities. Ensure effective and timely clearance of shipments as per Customs laws and procedures. Meet customer SOPs and ensure smooth clearance without delays. Ensure Global KPIs related to clearance operations are achieved consistently. Customer Relationship & Service Excellence Conduct regular CRM visits and maintain strong customer relationships. Handle customer complaints, feedback, and requirements promptly. Ensure seamless client onboarding and transition to operations within 7 days of CPSA signing. Maintain strong relationships with Customs officers, carriers, and stakeholders. Financial Management Improve branch profitability through yield enhancement and cost control. Ensure timely and accurate invoicing for all shipments and services. Maintain healthy cash flow by keeping AR collections under control. Analyze client performance in terms of gross margin, volume, and profitability. Reporting & Reviews Maintain and update MIS reports regularly. Participate in weekly meetings, sales reviews, and performance evaluations. Desired Candidate Profile Proven experience in Freight Forwarding, Customs Clearance (CHA), and Sales. Strong understanding of import/export operations, global logistics, and supply chain processes. Excellent knowledge of Customs laws, tariffs, documentation, and compliance. Strong communication, negotiation, and leadership skills. Ability to manage teams, achieve business targets, and drive operational efficiency. Customer-oriented with strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
