Job Description Azure DevOps Engineer

Experience:

Job Summary

Azure DevOps Engineer

Key Responsibilities

Design, implement, and maintain CI/CD pipelines using
Azure DevOps
.
Automate build, test, deployment, and release management processes.
Manage and optimize Azure cloud infrastructure and services.
Implement Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using
Terraform
and ARM Templates.
Work with development and operations teams to streamline software delivery.
Deploy and manage containerized applications using
Docker
and
Kubernetes (AKS)
.
Configure source code repositories and branching strategies using
Git
.
Monitor application and infrastructure performance using Azure monitoring tools.
Ensure security, compliance, and governance best practices across cloud environments.
Troubleshoot deployment, infrastructure, and application issues.
Participate in disaster recovery, backup, and business continuity planning.

Required Skills

5-8 years of IT experience with strong expertise in
Azure DevOps
.
Hands-on experience with
Azure Cloud Services
.
Strong knowledge of
CI/CD Pipelines
.
Experience with
Git, GitHub, Azure Repos, GitLab
.
Hands-on experience in
Terraform
and Infrastructure as Code.
Experience with
Docker
and
Kubernetes (AKS)
.
Knowledge of scripting using
PowerShell, Bash, or Python
.
Experience with Azure services such as:

Azure App Service
Azure Functions
Azure Virtual Machines
Azure Storage
Azure Key Vault
Azure Monitor
Azure Active Directory

Understanding of networking, security, and cloud architecture principles.
Experience with Agile/Scrum methodologies.

Preferred Skills

Experience with Multi-Cloud environments (AWS/GCP).
Knowledge of SonarQube, Nexus, JFrog Artifactory.
Experience with Monitoring & Logging tools.
Azure Certifications (AZ-104, AZ-400) preferred.
Familiarity with DevSecOps practices and security automation.

Educational Qualification

BE/B.Tech/MCA or Equivalent Degree.
