Role Overview: As a Data Engineer at P&G Professional IT team in Hyderabad, your expertise and work will be crucial in driving impactful analytics for global use, enabling data-driven decision-making. You will be responsible for building/enhancing enterprise data pipelines using various Azure Databricks components & tools. This role offers the opportunity to work on exciting, global projects collaborating with multi-functional and multinational teams within and outside of P&G. Key Responsibilities: - Implementing data modeling and optimizing data and analytics solutions at scale - Designing and developing applications to source data from various systems using Python and SQL programming - Collaborating cross-functionally with business users, data management teams, cloud integration architects, information security teams, and platform teams - Delivering the right solution architecture, automation, and technology choices for new analytical models - Suggesting and implementing architecture improvements Qualifications Required: - Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field; Masters degree is a plus - Experience with BI, Analytics, Data Modeling, and Data Provisioning, coding - Proficiency in Databricks, SQL, Python, PySpark, and coding standards - Experience with Cloud platforms, ETL concepts, and Agile environment - Strong written and verbal English communication skills - Ability to work collaboratively across functions and organize work - Understanding of DevOps & CI/CD concepts Additional Details: P&G, a company with over 180 years of history, is the worlds largest consumer goods company with iconic brands known for innovation, leadership, and citizenship.
