AWS Tech Lead

As a Tech Lead at Carelon Global Solutions India, you will be responsible for collaborating with data architects to implement data models seamlessly integrated with AWS services. Your role involves developing solutions tailored for efficient data processing from on-premise to cloud requirements utilizing AWS services and Snowflake. You will design and execute data ingestion pipelines to extract, transform, aggregate, and enrich data while enforcing data governance policies for quality, security, and compliance. Your responsibilities will include hands-on experience with Snowflake, Python, AWS S3-Athena, and RDS. You will demonstrate expertise in Cloudwatch, Lambda, GLUE, EMR CLUSTER, and possess a solid understanding of nested JSON file handling and flattening. Analyzing daily loads and addressing issues promptly, collaborating closely with admin/architect teams, and documenting complex issues are integral parts of your role. You will oversee technical aspects of projects, make design decisions, ensure best practices, and communicate effectively with peers and cross-functional teams. Your deep understanding of project architecture and systems will enable you to delegate tasks, organize the team, and collaborate with various business functions to overcome obstacles. Additionally, you will evaluate team performance, foster cooperation, and facilitate tech team activities. Qualifications for this role include a Bachelor's Degree in Information Technology/Data Engineering or equivalent education and experience, with a minimum of 3-9 years in AWS services. Your expertise should encompass 8+ years in Snowflake, AWS, data engineering, and cloud technologies, with a total IT experience of 8-11 years. Proficiency in agile development processes is desirable. You are expected to have hands-on experience with Snowflake, AWS services, complex SQL queries, and familiarity with technologies like Hadoop, Kafka, HBase, Sqoop, Scala, among others. Your ability to analyze, research, and solve technical problems will be crucial for success in this role.
