Description
Role & responsibilities 1. Designing, building, and deploying scalable, secure AWS cloud infrastructure that meets business requirements. 2. Configuring and maintaining AWS services such as EC2, S3, RDS, Lambda, VPC, and others. 3. Managing AWS resources and optimizing costs using techniques such as auto-scaling, reservation purchases, and cost reporting. 4. Implementing security best practices, including firewalls, access controls, and network security. 5. Developing and implementing disaster recovery and backup solutions to ensure business continuity in the event of a disruption. 6. Automating deployment and management processes using tools such as CloudFormation, Terraform, and Ansible. 7. Monitoring and troubleshooting cloud infrastructure, applications, and services to ensure high availability and performance. 8. Building logging and monitoring dashboards into AWS environment using AWS Service. 9. Develop robust and scalable ETL pipelines for data processing and transformation. 10. Leverage AWS and GCP to design, deploy, and maintain scalable cloud-based architectures. 11. Optimize data storage, retrieval, and analytics solutions using Snowflake . Preferred candidate profile Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. 3+ years of hands-on experience in data engineering. Proficiency in AWS and Python for building data pipelines. Expertise in Snowflake for data storage, querying, and analytics. Experience in designing and executing large-scale cloud migration projects. Ability to architect secure and cost-optimized cloud solutions. Hands-on experience in industry standard Cloud Migration Framework and Architecture is MUST. Hands-on Experience in AWS Tools such as S3, Glue, Athena, Lambda, Redshift, Airflow. Familiarity with DevOps methodology and toolsets. Hands-on experience with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins/GIT, Chef and Puppet. Familiarity with containerization technologies like Docker and Kubernetes . AWS certifications (e.g., AWS Certified Solutions Architect, AWS Certified DevOps Engineer) are a plus.
