Position:

We are looking for an experienced Data Engineer with strong hands-on expertise in AWS, Snowflake, Spark/PySpark, Python, SQL, and Airflow. The candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining scalable data pipelines and enterprise data platforms.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable batch and streaming data pipelines.
• Build and optimize ETL/ELT workflows using AWS, Snowflake, Spark/PySpark, Python, and SQL.
• Develop and maintain data lake, lakehouse, and data warehouse solutions.
• Implement workflow orchestration using Apache Airflow/Astronomer.
• Optimize Snowflake queries, workloads, storage, and compute utilization.
• Implement data quality checks, monitoring, governance, and security controls.
• Develop incremental data processing and data integration solutions.
• Support CI/CD, Git, Infrastructure as Code, automated testing, and deployment activities.
• Troubleshoot production issues and ensure pipeline reliability and performance.
• Collaborate with architects, platform engineers, and business stakeholders to deliver scalable data solutions.

Mandatory Skills:

• Strong hands-on experience in AWS Data Engineering.
• Experience with Snowflake and Snowflake data pipelines.
• Strong programming skills in Python and SQL.
• Hands-on experience with Apache Spark/PySpark.
• Experience developing ETL/ELT pipelines.
• Experience with Apache Airflow/Astronomer.
• Understanding of data lake/lakehouse architecture and data modeling.
• Experience with Git, CI/CD, and data pipeline monitoring.

Good to Have:

• Kafka and real-time data processing.
• Terraform or other Infrastructure as Code tools.
• Data governance, data lineage, and metadata management.
• GenAI, Agentic AI, LLM, MCP, or RAG exposure.
• Retail, eCommerce, Supply Chain, or Customer Analytics domain experience.
• Power BI and semantic models.

Experience & Qualifications:

• 5-10 years of relevant Data Engineering experience.
• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related discipline.
• Experience delivering production-grade enterprise data pipelines and data platforms.
