Tasks Responsibilities The Flight Simulator Technician is responsible for executing all maintenance tasks necessary for the simulator's smooth operation. The Technician can contract support to assist with these activities. The Flight Simulator Technician is responsible for the correct and timely execution of the prescribed maintenance tasks in this Manual and the maintenance manual. The simulator engineers, under supervision of the Maintenance manager, usually carry out the actual performance of maintenance tasks. The Flight Simulator Technician is being appointed by the Maintenance manager to ensure and complete each task. Tasks Perform standard Simulator support activities. Perform Site Acceptance Test. Carry out maintenance, modifications and/or repairs of FSTD in accordance with Regulatory Authority requirements and company standards. Implement updates and repairs to enhance the performance of the FSTD. Update maintenance data collection records and assist with equipment installation and check-out modifications. Apply technical knowledge to solve complex problems by interpreting design drawings, manuals, or simulator documents. Perform configuration changes to Simulators and FSTD, evaluate and confirm the proper post-change operation. Monitor Simulator(s) performance and condition to ensure compliance with governmental regulations. Location This job is based at the Avion Flight Training Centre Mumbai, located at Juhu Airport.
