A day in the life of an Infoscion involves actively supporting the consulting team throughout various project phases such as problem definition, effort estimation, diagnosis, solution generation, design, and deployment. It requires exploring alternative solutions through thorough research including literature surveys, public domain information, vendor evaluations, etc. The role also involves creating proof of concepts (POCs), developing requirement specifications from business needs, defining processes, and designing functional solutions based on requirements. Additionally, you will assist in configuring solution requirements, diagnosing issues, and identifying solution alternatives. As an AVEVA System Platform OMI Engineer, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining critical automation systems. The position necessitates a strong grasp of industrial automation principles and a successful track record in delivering high-quality solutions. Key skills required include proficiency in AVEVA System Platform OMI and Intouch, experience in SCADA systems design and development, in-depth knowledge of industrial automation concepts, and excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Nice-to-have skills include experience in AVEVA MES, PLC programming (e.g., Allen Bradley, Siemens), SQL Server, and .NET programming. The ideal candidate should have 4 to 9 years of experience and possess technical expertise in AVEVA System Platform, specializing in application development architecture and system design for industrial automation projects. They should also excel in designing and developing OMI applications, visualizing and analyzing plant data, and working with AVEVA Historian and InTouch. Additionally, the candidate should have experience in developing and maintaining SCADA applications, integrating PLCs and devices using various industrial protocols, and optimizing automated systems for industrial applications. Certifications such as AVEVA Application Server, AVEVA Intouch for System Platform, and AVEVA Historian Server are preferred. A minimum of 2 AVEVA System Platform and OMI Project implementation experience is also desired. Preferred skills include expertise in Energy - Oil & Gas, IOT, Aveva Engineering, and Aveva PDMS in the domain of PDM/PLM.,
