Job Summary: The role involves leading the detection, investigation, and response of cybersecurity threats, managing XDR and endpoint security tools, and coordinating enterprise-level security projects. The Senior Engineer will play a key role in strengthening the organization's security posture, optimizing processes, and supporting project execution to ensure timely delivery of security initiatives.. Key Responsibilities: 1. Security Operations & Threat Management Lead the monitoring, analysis, and response to security incidents using XDR and endpoint security tools. Perform advanced threat analysis, including malware, phishing, ransomware, insider threats, and lateral movement detection. Conduct root cause analysis and oversee remediation actions with IT and application teams. Maintain and tune detection rules, dashboards, and playbooks for operational efficiency. Collaborate with IT and network teams for vulnerability remediation, log onboarding, and security device configuration. Drive incident reporting, documentation, and lessons-learned sessions to improve response. 2. Security Project Management & Implementation Plan, coordinate, and execute security projects, including: XDR deployment and optimization across enterprise endpoints. Endpoint security enhancements and integration. Vulnerability Assessment & Penetration Testing (VAPT) remediation and closure tracking. Identity and Access Management (IAM) policy and solution implementation. SOC process automation and improvement initiatives. Act as the primary liaison between SOC operations, IT, and business stakeholders for project planning, tracking, and delivery. Prepare and present project plans, status reports, risk registers, and escalation reports to management. Ensure security projects meet compliance requirements (ISO 27001, NIST CSF, ITIL). Qualifications & Skills: Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Cybersecurity, or related field. Minimum 3–5 years of experience in SOC operations, threat monitoring, and incident response. Hands-on experience with XDR, endpoint security, vulnerability management, and threat intelligence platforms. Solid understanding of incident management, malware analysis, and endpoint threat correlation. Exposure to ITIL processes, change management, and security project management. Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills. Ability to work in a high-pressure, fast-paced security environment and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
