Job Title: Automation Testing Engineer Experience Level P2-C1-TSTS (Implied mid-level to senior experience) Key Responsibilities As an Automation Testing Engineer, you will: Design and Development: Design, develop, and maintain automated test frameworks and scripts. Identify areas for automation within the software development lifecycle. Develop and implement comprehensive test plans and test cases. Execution and Analysis: Execute automated tests and analyze results to identify defects. Conduct thorough regression testing to ensure bug fixes and new features function correctly without introducing new issues. Document test results clearly and report findings to development teams. Collaboration and Communication: Collaborate closely with development, product, and other teams to ensure quality and timely software releases. Participate in code reviews and actively contribute to the development of testable software from an early stage. Continuous Improvement: Stay up-to-date with the latest testing tools, technologies, and methodologies to continuously enhance the automation testing capabilities. Mandatory Skills & Experience Technical Proficiency: Core Java: Strong proficiency in Core Java (Primary Skill). Selenium: Extensive experience with Selenium (Primary Skill). BDD: Knowledge and experience with BDD (Behavior-Driven Development) methodology (Primary Skill). Scripting Languages: Proficiency in scripting languages (e.g., Python, JavaScript, in addition to Java). Testing Frameworks: Experience with testing frameworks (e.g., JUnit, TestNG). Testing Methodologies: Knowledge of various testing methodologies (e.g., API testing). Version Control: Familiarity with version control systems (e.g., Git). CI/CD: Experience with CI/CD pipelines. SQL: Knowledge of SQL (Secondary Skill). Experience & Qualifications: Demonstrated ability to design, develop, and maintain automated test frameworks and scripts. Proven experience in executing automated tests, analyzing results, and performing regression testing. Experience in documenting test results and reporting defects.
