A day in the life of an Infoscion involves actively aiding the consulting team in various project phases such as problem definition, effort estimation, diagnosis, solution generation, design, and deployment. You will be responsible for exploring alternatives to recommended solutions through research including literature surveys, public domain information, and vendor evaluations to build POCs. Additionally, creating requirement specifications based on business needs, defining processes, and detailed functional designs are crucial tasks. Configuring solution requirements, diagnosing issues, seeking clarifications, and identifying solution alternatives are also part of your role. Contributing to unit-level and organizational initiatives to provide high-quality solutions to customers is essential. As an Infosys testing team member, your primary role is to anchor testing requirements, develop test strategies, track project plans, review test plans, cases, and scripts. You will develop project quality plans, validate defective prevention plans, and ensure effective testing solutions for clients. It is important to ensure the availability of the right test environment and provide feedback for test data setup to commence test execution timely. Validating go-live activities like production verification to ensure the application runs smoothly in the production environment is also a key responsibility. Apart from this, mentoring the team, providing feedback, and coaching for continuous performance improvement are part of the role.
