Automation Tester

As an Automation Tester with 5 years of experience, you will be responsible for working with scripting languages such as Selenium, RTF, QTP VB Script, and Java Script. You will actively participate in reviews and interpret all documentation, including business requirements, functional and design specifications with team leads. It is expected that you work independently and effectively communicate project status to the project Single Point of Contact (SPOC). You should have the capability to read, understand, and analyze application architecture and design documents. An excellent understanding of various Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) processes, testing methodologies, quality standards, and industry best practices is required. You will need to utilize your understanding of multiple layers of supporting applications, interfaces to other products and systems, different types of databases, and application development languages. Your responsibilities will include reporting any product defects or non-compliance with business/functional requirements, performing maintenance and support duties, and ensuring conformance and application of test process management tools and guidelines. You will be testing system applications of all levels of complexity and verifying all outputs. Additionally, testing web services using tools like SOAP UI will be part of your tasks. You will also be responsible for content testing and administration, quality assurance/testing, creating and maintaining test data to simulate real-life use cases, and ensuring that tools like VSTS, RTC, and RQM are updated with task status and test case updates/uploads. Furthermore, you will ensure conformance and application of Rational Unified Process (RUP) testing discipline standards. This role requires proficiency in skills such as Selenium in Java, Cucumber BDD Framework, and Jenkins. The work timings are from 11 am to 8 pm IST, and the job location is limited to Bengaluru and Hyderabad. Your ability to effectively manage testing processes, adhere to guidelines, and communicate with project stakeholders will be crucial in ensuring the quality and success of the projects you work on.,
