Automation Test Engineer

We are looking for a skilled Automation Test Engineer with strong experience in Playwright and automation framework development to join our team.

The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience in designing, developing, and maintaining automation testing frameworks, writing automated test scripts, and ensuring software quality. Knowledge of Generative AI and AI-powered testing tools will be an added advantage.

Roles & Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain automation test scripts using Playwright.
• Build, enhance, and maintain automation testing frameworks from scratch.
• Perform UI automation and functional testing of web applications.
• Develop reusable test scripts, utilities, and automation components.
• Execute automated test suites and analyze test results.
• Identify, report, track, and verify software defects.
• Integrate automation scripts into CI/CD pipelines.
• Collaborate with developers, manual testers, and business teams.
• Ensure test coverage, reliability, and quality of applications.
• Explore AI-powered testing solutions to improve automation efficiency.

Required Skills

• Strong hands-on experience in Playwright Automation Testing.
• Good programming knowledge in JavaScript / TypeScript.
• Experience in developing or maintaining automation frameworks.
• Knowledge of Selenium or other automation tools is an advantage.
• Understanding of API testing and REST APIs.
• Knowledge of test planning, test cases, and defect management.
• Familiarity with Git, Jenkins, and CI/CD processes.
• Good analytical, debugging, and problem-solving skills.

Generative AI – Added Advantage

• Knowledge of Generative AI concepts and applications.
• Exposure to AI-assisted test case generation and automation script creation.
• Familiarity with AI tools such as ChatGPT, GitHub Copilot, or similar tools.
• Understanding of how AI can be integrated into software testing workflows.

Note: Generative AI knowledge is an added advantage and is not mandatory.

Eligibility

• Candidates from any degree background can apply.
• Relevant hands-on automation testing experience is preferred.
• Candidates with strong Playwright and framework development skills are encouraged to apply. Training and placement can also be given to any degree holders from any industry experience of minimum 3 years work experience. BPO candidates can also apply.

Pay: ₹800,000.00 - ₹2,500,000.00 per year
