AutoCAD Designer Required

Position: AutoCAD Designer

Location: Meerut

Industry: Machinery / Engineering / Manufacturing

Key Responsibilities:

• Create 2D and 3D AutoCAD drawings for machinery, plant layouts, and components.
• Prepare assembly drawings, fabrication drawings, and detailed part drawings with accurate dimensions.
• Work closely with the engineering team to translate concepts into working technical designs.
• Maintain and update design documentation, drawing libraries, and revision control.
• Ensure all designs comply with industry standards, material specifications, and safety guidelines.
• Assist in preparing general arrangement (GA) drawings for clients and production teams.
• Coordinate with production and installation teams for drawing clarifications and modifications.

Requirements:

• Diploma/Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Drafting, or related field.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD (2D/3D); knowledge of SolidWorks/Inventor/Creo is a plus.
• Strong understanding of mechanical components, sheet metal, and fabrication processes.
• Minimum 1–3 years of experience in machine design/drafting (freshers with strong skills can also apply).
• Ability to interpret engineering sketches and convert them into accurate CAD drawings.

Preferred Skills:

• Experience in flour milling machinery / process plant design will be an advantage.
• Knowledge of structural and piping layouts.
• Ability to prepare BOMs (Bill of Materials) from drawings.
