Auto Emb Dev (Audio)- Engineer

As a Qualcomm Software Engineer, your role involves designing, developing, creating, modifying, and validating embedded and cloud edge software, applications, and/or specialized utility programs that drive cutting-edge, world-class products to meet and exceed customer needs. You will collaborate with various teams to design system-level software solutions, ensuring performance requirements and interfaces are met. **Key Responsibilities:** - Design, develop, create, modify, and validate embedded and cloud edge software - Collaborate with systems, hardware, architecture, test engineers, and other teams - Obtain information on performance requirements and interfaces - Ensure cutting-edge products meet and exceed customer needs **Qualifications Required:** - 1-2 years of work experience in embedded software and/or driver development - Detail-oriented with strong analytical and debugging skills - Effective written and verbal communication skills - Proficiency in C/C++ programming - Working knowledge of Device Driver Programming in Linux/RTOS like QNX/Greenhills - Familiarity with industry standard software development tools such as debuggers, code revision control systems (GIT, Perforce), IDEs, and build tools In addition to the above qualifications, having a solid understanding of Android versions, the Android Display Framework, Composer HAL, DRM-KMS, OpenWFD standard, or any other display driver is preferred. Knowledge of Display HW processing and various RGB & YUV display color formats will be beneficial. Experience in embedded display driver implementation is considered advantageous.
