Auto ADAS SW - Engineer, Staff

Qualcomm India Private Limited is seeking a Software Engineer to join their Engineering Group. As a Qualcomm Software Engineer, you will play a crucial role in designing, developing, modifying, and validating embedded and cloud edge software, applications, and specialized utility programs. Your work will contribute to the creation of cutting-edge products that exceed customer expectations. Collaboration with systems, hardware, architecture, and test engineers is essential to design system-level software solutions and ensure performance requirements are met. Minimum Qualifications: - Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field with 4+ years of Software Engineering experience - Master's degree in relevant field with 3+ years of experience - PhD in Engineering, Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field with 2+ years of experience - 2+ years of programming experience in languages such as C, C++, Java, Python, etc. Preferred Qualifications: - Master's Degree in relevant field - 8+ years of Software Engineering experience - 3+ years of experience with Database Management Software - 3+ years of experience with API - 1+ year of experience with Git, Perforce, or Source Code Management System Responsibilities include: - Designing and developing software for embedded and cloud edge systems - Customizing software to optimize operational efficiency - Implementing software modules for large-scale products - Leading design, coding, testing, and integration efforts - Performing code reviews, debugging, and issue resolution - Collaborating with cross-functional teams - Writing technical documentation for complex projects Level of Responsibility: - Works independently with minimal supervision - Provides guidance to team members - Makes significant decisions affecting work beyond immediate group - Requires strong communication skills for conveying information effectively Qualcomm is an equal opportunity employer committed to providing accessible processes for individuals with disabilities.
