About the Position

Ashok Aggarwal & Co. is looking for a highly qualified, experienced, and result-oriented Taxation & Audit Executive with strong technical knowledge of taxation, auditing, and accounting. The ideal candidate should have substantial experience working in a CA firm and the ability to independently manage assignments, lead a team, and ensure timely completion of client deliverables.

Key Responsibilities

1. Direct and Indirect Taxation

• Handle income tax return preparation and filing for individuals, firms, companies, and other entities.
• Manage GST compliance, including GSTR-1, GSTR-3B, annual returns, and reconciliation.
• Handle tax assessments, notices, and related departmental proceedings.
• Assist in tax planning, computation of tax liability, and compliance with applicable tax laws.
• Ensure timely filing of statutory returns and maintenance of proper documentation.

2. Audit & Assurance

• Independently manage statutory audits, tax audits, and internal audits.
• Conduct vouching, verification of books of accounts, and examination of financial records.
• Prepare audit working papers, audit reports, and supporting documentation.
• Identify discrepancies, control weaknesses, and areas of financial risk.
• Ensure compliance with applicable accounting standards and statutory requirements.

3. Team Management & Client Coordination

• Independently lead and supervise a team of accountants, audit assistants, and junior staff.
• Allocate assignments, monitor progress, and review the quality of work.
• Coordinate with clients for information, documents, and statutory compliance.
• Ensure assignments are completed accurately and within prescribed deadlines.
• Report work progress and critical matters to the partners or senior management.

Required Skills & Competencies

• Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in a CA firm.
• Strong practical knowledge of taxation, GST, audit, and accounting.
• Ability to independently handle multiple client assignments.
• Proven ability to manage and guide a team effectively.
• Excellent analytical, organisational, and problem-solving skills.
• Good communication and client-handling abilities.
• Proficiency in MS Excel, accounting software, and relevant tax-compliance portals.
• Strong sense of responsibility, accuracy, confidentiality, and professional ethics.

Salary & Benefits

Monthly Salary: ₹50,000 – ₹70,000, depending on qualifications, experience, and technical expertise.
