Audit Assistant

The Paid Assistant will be responsible for ensuring compliance with statutory financial regulations, including GST filings, TDS filings, income tax returns, bookkeeping, and auditing. The role requires strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and expertise in financial laws and accounting standards.

Key Responsibilities:

GST Compliance & Filings:

Prepare and file monthly, quarterly, and annual GST returns (GSTR-1, GSTR-3B, GSTR-9, etc.).

Ensure timely payment of GST liabilities.

Handle GST reconciliation and respond to notices from tax authorities.

TDS Compliance & Filings:

Deduct TDS as per applicable rates and deposit with the government.

File quarterly TDS returns (Form 24Q, 26Q, 27Q) and issue TDS certificates.

Resolve discrepancies and respond to TDS-related queries.

Income Tax Return (ITR) Filings:

Prepare and file income tax returns for individuals, firms, and companies.

Handle tax assessments, notices, and refund processes.

Ensure compliance with the latest income tax laws.

Audit & Assurance:

Conduct statutory audits, internal audits, and tax audits.

Verify financial records, vouchers, and compliance with accounting standards.

Prepare audit reports with findings and recommendations.

Bookkeeping & Accounting:

Maintain accurate books of accounts (ledgers, journals, trial balance).

Ensure proper documentation and record-keeping for audits.

Reconcile bank statements and financial discrepancies.

Regulatory Compliance:

Stay updated with changes in GST, TDS, income tax, and auditing standards.

Liaise with tax authorities, auditors, and consultants as needed.

Qualifications & Skills:

Education: Bachelor’s degree in Commerce (B.Com), CA Inter/CA, or equivalent.

Technical Skills:

Proficiency in GST, TDS, and income tax filings.

Strong knowledge of accounting software (Tally, QuickBooks, Zoho Books).

Expertise in MS Excel and financial reporting.

Pay: ₹12,000.00 - ₹15,000.00 per month
