Role Description We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented PCB Design Layout Engineer with 3-5 years of experience to join a semiconductor production unit full-time at our clients office in Hyderabad. The selected candidate will be responsible for designing, testing, and validating PCB layouts based on project specifications. Daily responsibilities include collaborating with cross-functional teams, utilizing technical tools to create high-quality layouts, optimizing designs for manufacturing, and reviewing and resolving design issues. The role requires ensuring compliance with industry standards while meeting technical and operational requirements within set deadlines. Candidate must have the hands on experience on Circuit schematic entry through Cadence Orcad tools. Performing simulation like Pre - SI and post - SI creation of IBIS model, SPICE circuit models, Part creation includes Pad creation, foot prints creation, as per the data sheet using Cadence PCB design tools like allegro. Getting the PCB Layer stack from the PCB fabricators, Engineer has to plan the floor planning, Routing, Candidate must possess the knowledge on the Impedance control boards for single ended 50 ohms, differential ended lines maintaining the 100ohms impedance for peripherals like DDR memories . Candidate has to check the Netlist and debug the DRCs , warnings , perform DRC checks and generate the Gerber files . Candidate must Generate the Layout Bill of materials, BOM and purchase BOM. Candidate must possess the knowledge on Gerber generation files solder mask, silk mask top and bottom for Assembly of the PCB.
