About ASU Tech Engineering ASU Tech is a growing precision manufacturing company specializing in aluminium extrusion dies, high-accuracy machining, EDM solutions, and custom engineering components . With expanding capabilities (VMC, CNC turning, EDM, Wirecut, Milling, Grinding), we are now entering new sectors such as: Automotive components Railways Industrial machinery & tooling Custom engineering parts We are looking for a smart, energetic, technically aware Marketing Executive who understands the industrial ecosystem around Sriperumbudur, Oragadam, Ambattur, Guindy, SIPCOT , and similar hubs. Role Overview You will be the face of ASU Tech to the industrial market — identifying opportunities, meeting customers, understanding their machining needs, and generating new business. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys visiting factories, interacting with engineers, understanding machining drawings, and selling technical solutions . Key Responsibilities Market Research & Lead Identification Identify small, medium, and large companies around Chennai that require machined parts, tooling, dies, jigs, fixtures, or precision components. Map industries including automotive, railways, electronics, aerospace, fabrication, and machinery manufacturers. Build and maintain a database of potential clients. Technical Understanding Understand basic machining processes: VMC, CNC Turning, Milling, Wirecut, EDM, Surface Grinding, Drilling etc. Evaluate whether ASU Tech can manufacture a component based on: material, tolerances, drawing, process requirements . Communicate effectively between customers and factory (production team). Client Interaction & Sales Visit customer factories regularly to explore opportunities. Build strong relationships with purchase managers, production heads, design engineers. Gather RFQs (Requests for Quotation), submit quotations, follow up for orders. Understand client pain points and propose ASU Tech’s solutions. Business Growth Generate consistent new business every month. Help diversify ASU Tech into new machining markets , especially automotive and industrial components. Suggest new product possibilities based on market demand and machine capability. Branding & Networking Represent ASU Tech professionally in local industry clusters. Attend expos, supplier meets, and vendor development programs. Support management in building the company’s brand visibility. Required Skills Technical Skills Basic understanding of machining (CNC/VMC/EDM/Milling/Grinding). Ability to read or at least understand engineering drawings (desirable). Knowledge of industrial materials (steel grades, aluminium, tool steel). Sales & Marketing Skills Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to build rapport with factory managers and engineering teams. Capability to handle negotiations and follow-ups professionally. Self-driven with the ability to plan daily visits and meet targets. Tamil lamguage is a big plus Experience 2 to 5 years in any of the following: machining / fabrication industry tooling / die-making / precision components automotive vendor development B2B industrial sales Freshers with exceptional passion for machining may be considered.
