Join our telecommunications team as a Carrier Account Executive and help manage critical global telecom relationships in the fast-evolving world of voice and A2P messaging. You’ll play an essential role in handling enterprise communication channels between carriers, overseeing technical and commercial operations, and driving business growth by ensuring robust connectivity and customer satisfaction. Key Responsibilities • Carrier Account Management: Serve as the main liaison for global carrier partners. Build and nurture strong relationships with telecom carriers, enterprise messaging clients, and aggregators to enable efficient, secure connectivity. • Voice & A2P Operations: Support the integration and delivery of telecom (voice and A2P SMS) services, coordinating provisioning, onboarding, and troubleshooting with carrier partners. Ensure high service reliability, security, and compliance with industry regulations. • Commercial Management: Own commercial discussions—negotiate contracts, manage rate matrices, handle procurement of telecom services, and oversee billing, invoicing, and payment collection processes. • Client Consulting: Advise enterprise clients on optimal use of A2P messaging and voice products, including CPaaS solutions, APIs, direct SMS/voice routing, and regulatory compliance for international traffic. • Growth & Retention: Proactively identify upsell/cross-sell opportunities (premium messaging routes, value-added voice solutions). Monitor and report on account performance, pipeline status, and market trends for continuous improvement and revenue growth. • Collaboration & Problem Resolution: Work with product, tech, legal, finance, and support teams to resolve escalations, implement solutions quickly, and optimize account performance. • Industry Research: Stay updated on trends in telecom, messaging regulations, and emerging technologies to anticipate client needs and drive innovation. Desired Skills & Competencies • Strong communication, client management, and negotiation abilities. • Analytical thinker able to assess technical, commercial and operational requirements of telecom services. • Technical competence in telecom fundamentals: routing, provisioning, carrier onboarding, SMS/firewall management, APIs (preferred, not required for freshers). • Ability to multitask, prioritize, and thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment. • Keen interest in telecom, enterprise communications, VoIP, A2P messaging, or CPaaS ecosystem.
