Job Description

We are looking Associate Manager - Personal care for leading pharma company. Candidate must have experience as Skin care application specialist & New product development in formulation development in cosmetics / Pharma / Skin care / FMCG industry . Position Overview The individual will oversee laboratory operations and provide Technical Service support to both local and regional clients. The candidate is expected to actively contribute to projects within the Personal Care sector, particularly focusing on the skin care segment. Primary Responsibilities Lab Projects: Innovate and develop new concepts utilizing existing laboratory resources and Evoniks personal care ingredient offerings. Collaborate with customers to bring new applications to market, highlighting the technical benefits of Evoniks products in various skin care applications. Technical Service: Assist customers by addressing inquiries and complaints, conducting presentations, promoting products, and offering on-site support, including domestic and international travel as required. Competitive Analysis: Assess competitor products in relation to Evoniks ingredients and compile competitive data for different applications and industries. Market Insights: Analyze market trends and evaluate the potential for skin care applications in India, culminating in a comprehensive report. Trade Shows: Engage actively in exhibitions, fairs, conferences, and conventions, showcasing technical expertise in skin care. Training: Deliver technical training on both traditional and new applications in laboratory settings for Sales & Marketing teams, as well as Distributors and Customers. Communication: Participate in global projects as a team member through Webex, teleconferences, group discussions, and collaborative projects. Reporting: Prepare Technical Reports, Lab Reports, and Newsletters/Posters to promote new products or ideas. Qualifications Education: B.Tech/M. Tech in Cosmetics or a Masters degree in Chemistry/Chemical Engineering (or a related technology field). Experience: A minimum of 10 years in Application/Technical Service within a Personal Care specialty . Practical experience in a formulation laboratory. Familiarity with cosmetic regulatory standards is a plus.
