Associate Level 1

Key duties and responsibilities

• Receipt of required data for the preparation of Book-Keeping and periodic primary statements, namely - PL account, Balance sheet, Cash-flows notes as appropriate.
• Analysis of bank transactions and processing them on accounting platform/excel.
• Analysis and processing of invoices, expenses, and other transactions.
• Clear understanding of accrued prepaid expenses, FAR Revaluations.
• Understanding of cash, capital Dividend movements
• Ability to reconcile AP AR (Inter-company transactions)
• Exposure to Trial balance finalization.
• Preparation reporting of periodic management accounts in multiple GAAPs, mainly in IFRS, US GAAP.
• Exposure to payroll accounting, posting journal entries VAT/GST
• calculations/returns.
• Ability to understand and resolve queries raised by Onshore, Client, Auditor and Director.
• Qualification and Experience
• Qualification- CA, CPA, ACCA, MBA (Finance), CFA, or any course specialized in Accounting/Finance
• Experience of 0-5 years in Accounting (IFRS/US GAAP is preferred)

• Flexibility to work long hours weekend working (If necessary).
• Proficient in MS Office tools (Excel Word is mandatory).

• Good knowledge in capital market, derivatives, Private equity fund, Hedge funds etc
