Associate - Billing

Role & responsibilities

• To prepare statement of bill for the inpatient at the time of discharge.
• To prepare interim statement of bill for the inpatient to help them to clear their day to day bills.
• To ensure that all the proper entries are done in the HMIS
• To calculate discount, exclusions from the hospital bills.
• Identifies and resolves patient billing complaints.
• Handles cash disbursement, cheque and record of employee perquisites.
• Data entry of cash/bank transactions.
• Preparation of cash/ bank vouchers.
• Ensures data entry of journal vouchers, monthly payments and other reconciliation vouchers.
• Verifies and prepares vouchers.

Educational Qualifications/ Experience

• Graduate or Equivalent Diploma / 0-3 years of relevant experience (preferably in a service industry)

Technical Competence

• Analytical skills
• Good knowledge of computers
