Job Summary

Visiontech Services is looking for an experienced Assistant Project Manager – Procurement to manage end-to-end procurement activities for boiler, utility and industrial EPC projects. The candidate will be responsible for vendor development, price negotiation, purchase orders, material delivery, cost control and coordination with project, engineering and site teams.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare project-wise procurement plans and material requirement schedules.
• Source and evaluate vendors, fabricators and service contractors.
• Obtain quotations, prepare comparative statements and negotiate commercial terms.
• Prepare and track purchase orders and work orders.
• Monitor manufacturing, inspections, dispatch and material delivery at project sites.
• Coordinate with engineering, project, site, stores, quality and accounts teams.
• Monitor procurement budgets, committed costs and cost variances.
• Maintain procurement MIS, PO trackers and vendor documentation.
• Coordinate quality certificates, inspection records and applicable IBR documentation.
• Identify material shortages and vendor delays and take timely corrective action.

Requirements

• Diploma / B.E. / B.Tech in Mechanical Engineering or a related discipline preferred.
• 4–8 years of relevant experience in procurement or project coordination.
• Experience in industrial EPC, boiler, mechanical or utility projects preferred.
• Knowledge of BOQs, technical drawings, vendor comparison and commercial terms.
• Good working knowledge of MS Excel, Word and procurement trackers.
• Strong negotiation, communication, coordination and follow-up skills.

Preferred Industry Exposure

Boilers, pressure parts, piping, valves, pumps, motors, structural steel, fabrication, fuel handling systems, refractory, insulation, electrical and instrumentation materials.

Pay: ₹30,000.00 - ₹40,000.00 per month
