Position Overview In a university setting, a teaching position involves delivering lectures, leading discussions, designing and delivering course materials, and assessing student learning, along with potentially mentoring students and conducting research. Experience : 1-15 years in Teaching Key Responsibilities: Curriculum Development and Delivery: Develop and update course syllabi, lesson plans, and materials. Deliver engaging and informative lectures, presentations, and discussions. Utilize various teaching methods and technologies to enhance student learning. Prepare and administer exams, quizzes, and other assessments. Student Interaction and Support: Maintain regular office hours to provide guidance and support to students. Provide constructive feedback on student work and performance. Advise students on academic and career paths. Create a positive and inclusive learning environment. Assessment and Evaluation: Develop and implement assessment strategies to evaluate student learning. Grade assignments, exams, and other assessments fairly and accurately. Provide timely and constructive feedback to students on their performance. Research and Scholarly Activities: Conduct Research: Engage in research activities relevant to their field of expertise. Publish research findings in academic journals and present at conferences. Seek out research funding opportunities. Scholarly Engagement: Stay current with developments in their field through reading, attending seminars, and engaging in professional development. Contribute to the intellectual life of the university through participation in seminars, workshops, and other events. Other Responsibilities: Departmental and University Service: Participate in departmental meetings and committees. Contribute to the recruitment and retention of students. Assist with university events and activities. Professional Development: Seek opportunities for professional development to enhance teaching and research skills. Stay informed about new pedagogical approaches and technologies. Qualifications: B.Tech, M.Tech , Ph.D (Computer Science Engineering) UGC NET/ CSIR NET/ GPAT/ GATE qualified or PhD in a relevant field.
