Location: Mandideep, Madhya Pradesh, India Job Title: Asst. Manager – Finance Overall Role Objective: Responsible for entire accounting and finance business partnering activities of the plant/unit. Key Responsibilities: Partnering with the plant head defining cost negotiation strategy with the co-packing customers, controlling and reviewing variances vs. agreed cost, reconciliation Driving cost efficiency in the plant: by working in cross-functional teams to deliver CI and drive cost reduction ideas to reduce wastage and to hold productivity targets. Project Oxygen -Validating of Monthly Oxygen CI savings workings by 4th day after Books Close with workings Physical stock verification and reconciliation at every month end. CAPEX budgeting, monthly update/reviews. Margin expansion – projects & working closely with CFT teams Build plant profitability targets for the year which will be the input for overall organization plan Develop annual budget and share with Head of Plant and Head of Finance for review; Share finalized budget with Finance team Conduct annual review and verification of BOMs & routing Audit (Statutory Audit & Tax Audit) and Compliance Manage statutory audit effectively for plant and clean Audit Implementation, with Zero major issues /observation for plants. Lead improvement projects and ensure meeting of project objectives such as process simplification, efficiency and productivity improvement Person Specifications Education: Post Grad/ Chartered Accountant Experience: 5 years + Minimum knowledge, skills and abilities required to successfully perform major duties/responsibilities: Ability to work independently under fast-paced environment with minimal supervision Team player and able to communicate effectively in English. Integrity and able to provide objective decision to improve P&L bottom line. Good business sense committed and responsible in meeting deadline. Proactive, organize and problem-solving mindset. Knowledge in financial policies/control. SAP or equivalent ERP system exposure is a must. Microsoft Excel analytic skills Competencies: Good level of financial planning and analysis knowledge Good understanding of accounting flows and processes Must have computerized systems operating experience (SAP preferred) Proficiency in MS Excel The Hershey Company is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
