Job Description

As a Data Analytics Assistant Manager at Grant Thornton, your role involves driving innovative and strategic solutions using data analytics tools and business knowledge. You will lead the development of client projects, creating data-driven dashboards to showcase key performance metrics and derive valuable insights. Your responsibilities include planning, executing, and supervising projects, as well as training and mentoring the team. Collaborating closely with Directors, Senior Associates, and Associates is essential for client management and business development. **Key Responsibilities:** - Plan, document, and communicate project goals. - Outline a clear path to project completion. - Supervise the development of dashboards. - Gather insights from users and make project modifications accordingly. - Train the team on advanced business intelligence tools. - Manage project deliverables and deadlines effectively. - Collaborate with Directors and Partners to resolve issues promptly. - Develop and maintain strong internal and client relationships. - Assist Partners and Directors in proposals and business development. - Manage and develop the team, assessing performance for year-end reviews. **Qualifications Required:** - Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Accounting, Finance, Computer Science, Statistics, or related field. - Tableau Certification is a plus. - Proficiency in SQL or Alteryx data cleansing software is advantageous. - Proficient in Microsoft Excel. - Minimum of 5 years of relevant work experience in consulting. - CPA or related license/certification is a bonus. - Ability to handle multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment. - Strong leadership, business development, and mentoring skills. - Excellent written, presentation, and interpersonal communication abilities. - Willingness to work additional hours as needed.
