Assistant Manager - Network Design

Key Responsibilities

• Responsible for conceptualization, design solutioning and implementation of Order to delivery speed improvement initiatives.
• Own the supply chain network performance framework / measurement system to systemically keep track of the existing base network.
• Drive continuous improvement and operationalize business performance innovation.
• Drive process excellence in operations for reliability, speed improvement and growth enablement, through identification and monitoring of projects to solve operational inefficiencies.
• Drive on-ground implementation of initiatives and adherence to standard operating procedures.
• Evaluate Network Change requests from internal and external stakeholders based on multiple factors like speed, cost and reliability.
• Identify Network Improvement project plans to match current performance with the design performance.
• Establish and enforce a systemized approach and Supply Chain Tools / Network Optimization capabilities for the NPG team.

Required Qualifications

• Education:

  Graduate / Post-graduate from a Tier 1 institute.

• Experience:

  3+ years of relevant experience in network design, supply chain, or operations.

• Design Thinking:

  Design thinker with the ability to recognize improvement opportunities.

• Measurement Systems:

  Experience developing and implementing measurement systems, processes and procedures for complex situations.

• Innovation:

  Experience developing innovative solutions to complex business challenges.

• Project Management:

  Experience managing complex projects from initiation through to implementation.

• Organizational Understanding:

  In-depth understanding of the structure and inter-dependencies of a complex and large organization.
