Job Title: Assistant Manager – Indirect Taxation

Experience: 2 Years

Educational Qualification

• Bachelor's degree in Commerce (B.Com), Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• Strong knowledge of GST laws and indirect taxation.

Key Roles and Responsibilities

• Manage and oversee all GST-related activities, ensuring accurate and timely compliance with GST regulations.
• Prepare, review, and file GSTR-1 and GSTR-3B returns within the prescribed due dates.
• Perform regular GSTR-2B reconciliation to verify Input Tax Credit (ITC) claims.
• Ensure timely completion and submission of all GST returns without delays or penalties.
• Reconcile sales, purchase, input tax credit, and GST ledger accounts.
• Verify GST invoices, e-invoices, e-way bills, and related documentation.
• Monitor GST notices, assessments, and departmental queries and coordinate appropriate responses.
• Reconcile books of accounts with GST portal data.
• Stay updated on GST amendments, notifications, and statutory requirements.

Required Skills

• Minimum 2 years of hands-on experience in GST and indirect taxation.
• Good knowledge of GST laws, rules, and statutory compliance.
• Practical experience in filing GSTR-1 and GSTR-3B returns.
• Strong understanding of GSTR-2B reconciliation and Input Tax Credit (ITC).
• Proficiency in MS Excel and accounting software such as Tally ERP / Tally Prime.
• Knowledge of GST portal operations and return filing procedures.
• Strong analytical, reconciliation, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet statutory deadlines.
