Assistant Manager – Import & Export

Department: Supply Chain / Logistics / Commercial

Key Responsibilities

Manage import shipments from global suppliers.

Coordinate with freight forwarders, shipping lines, airlines, and customs brokers.

Ensure timely customs clearance of materials and equipment.

Manage export documentation and shipment execution.

Ensure compliance with Customs Act, DGFT regulations, and Foreign Trade Policy.

Verify HSN/HS codes, duty structures, and exemptions.

Prepare and review Commercial Invoices, Packing Lists, Bill of Entry, Shipping Bills, Certificates of Origin, AWB, and BL.

Negotiate freight rates and optimize logistics costs.

Coordinate with CHA, DGFT authorities, procurement, finance, and sales teams.

Generate MIS reports and monitor logistics KPIs.
