Job Title: Assistant Manager - Finance and Accounts (GST Specialist) Location: Gurgaon Position Overview: The Assistant Manager - Finance and Accounts will be responsible for overseeing day-to-day accounting operations, financial reporting, and ensuring compliance with GST regulations. The role requires a deep understanding of GST laws and procedures, as well as the ability to manage various accounting functions efficiently. Key Responsibilities: GST Compliance and Management: Ensure accurate and timely filing of GST returns (GSTR-1, GSTR-3B, GSTR-9, and other applicable returns) and maintain up-to-date records. Handle GST reconciliation, including input tax credit and output tax liability. Address GST queries, assessments, and notices from tax authorities and provide necessary documentation. Assist in GST audits and assessments, ensuring compliance with all regulatory requirements. Accounts Management: Oversee day-to-day accounting operations, including accounts payable, receivable, general ledger, and bank reconciliations. Ensure accurate and timely recording of financial transactions in accordance with accounting standards and company policies. Monitor and manage cash flow, working capital, and budgeting processes. Financial Reporting: Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements and management reports. Assist in the preparation of budgets, forecasts, and variance analysis to support decision-making. Taxation and Compliance: Manage direct and indirect tax compliance, including TDS, income tax, and other statutory filings. Ensure adherence to internal controls and compliance with all financial and accounting regulations. Internal Audits and Controls: Assist in the development and implementation of internal audit procedures. Conduct regular reviews of financial processes and records to ensure accuracy and compliance. Stakeholder Collaboration: Collaborate with internal teams, external auditors, and consultants to ensure smooth financial operations. Support senior management in financial analysis, strategic planning, and decision-making. Process Improvement: Identify opportunities for process improvements in accounting and GST-related activities to enhance efficiency and accuracy. Implement best practices in financial and tax management. Qualifications: Bachelors degree in Commerce, Accounting, Finance, or a related field. CA/ICWA/MBA (Finance) is preferred. Minimum of 5 years of experience in finance and accounting roles, with a strong focus on GST compliance and management. In-depth knowledge of GST laws, regulations, and filing procedures. Proficiency in accounting software and MS Excel. Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills. Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
