In this role, you will own month-end close activities and prepare standalone and consolidated financial statements for Tally’s group entities, working closely with the Senior Manager. You will review expense provisions, maintain the fixed asset register, prepare Ind AS workings and support audits, while partnering with business and audit teams to ensure an accurate, timely and well-controlled book closure.

• Chartered Accountant with 3 – 4 years of post-qualification experience.
• Experience in R2R, financial reporting or statutory audit; Big-4 audit experience preferred.
• Hands-on experience in month-end close, including provisions, fixed assets and balance sheet reconciliations.
• Strong working knowledge of Ind AS 115, 109, 116, 12 and Schedule III disclosures.
• Experience preparing standalone and consolidated financial statements for a multi-entity group.
• Understanding of foreign subsidiary translation and intercompany eliminations.
• Advanced Excel skills; working knowledge of accounting systems, TallyPrime preferred.
• Experience in software product companies or technology businesses is a plus.
• Strong attention to detail and ownership of data accuracy.
• Ability to work independently on defined deliverables with minimal supervision.
• Analytical mindset with structured problem-solving ability.
• Clear written and verbal communication, including with auditors.
• High ownership, accountability, and ability to meet deadlines.

Month-End Close & Record-to-Report

• Review monthly expense provisions and prepaid schedules and validate cut-off and reversals.
• Maintain the fixed asset register: Capitalization, Depreciation, Disposals and Annual physical verification.
• Review bank reconciliations, Payroll accounting, Intercompany balances and GL scrutiny for assigned entities.
• Update month-end forex rates and reinstate foreign-currency balances.

Financial Statements & Consolidation

• Prepare standalone and consolidated financial statements, including quarterly condensed financials.
• Prepare intercompany eliminations and translate international subsidiary financials at closing rates.

Ind AS Workings

• Prepare monthly revenue and commission deferral workings and reconcile them to sales data.
• Prepare ECL, Ind AS 116 lease, investment (amortized cost, fair value, impairment) and deferred tax workings.

Audit & Controls Support

• Prepare audit schedules & supporting files, respond to auditor queries within agreed timelines.
• Coordinate confirmations, actuarial valuation data, and related-party and contingent-liability disclosures.
• Support internal audit, IFC and ITGC reviews for reporting and close processes.

Process & Data Rigour

• Maintain close checklists and reporting templates and document workings and SOPs.
• Identify opportunities to automate recurring workings in Tally products and reporting tools.

Stakeholder Collaboration

• Work with P2P, O2C, Treasury, HR, Tax and Legal teams on accruals, asset data and disclosures.
