Accounting Operations: Review and approve journal entries, reconciliations, and other accounting transactions. Ensure proper accounting treatment for all transactions, including revenue recognition, accruals, and expenses. Manage fixed asset register, depreciation calculations, and related adjustments. Maintain intercompany reconciliations while adhering to accounting standards and compliance regulations, including transfer pricing policies. Taxation and Compliance: Ensure compliance with GST, income tax, and other relevant local taxes. Prepare and file GST returns, TDS returns, and income tax returns in a timely manner. Coordinate with external auditors for audit preparation and support, ensuring adherence to tax and regulatory requirements. Budgeting and Forecasting: Assist in budgeting and forecasting processes, providing insights and variance analysis. Monitor actual performance against budget and provide recommendations for improvements. Process Improvement & Internal Controls: Implement and improve internal controls to safeguard company assets and ensure the integrity of financial data. Continuously improve accounting processes and workflows to enhance efficiency and accuracy. Team Management: Supervise and mentor junior accountants, providing guidance and support for their professional development. Required Qualifications & Skills: Education: Bachelor's degree or MBA in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (Required). Experience: Minimum of 5+ years of experience in accounting or finance roles, with at least 2-3 years in a Shared Service Center. Proven experience in handling complex financial reporting, reconciliation, and tax matters in a corporate setting.
