Role Description This is a full-time, on-site role for an Automation Control Engineer located in Hyderabad. The Automation Control Engineer will be responsible for design, development, and commissioning of automation systems, integrating PLCs, HMIs, and industrial networks for advanced manufacturing projects. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver turnkey solutions that meet client requirements and global standards. Daily tasks include troubleshooting, process control, and electrical engineering. The engineer will work on robotic systems and control systems design, ensuring the efficiency and reliability of automated processes. Key Responsibilities Develop, program, and troubleshoot PLCs (Siemens, Allen-Bradley, Mitsubishi, Omron, Schneider). Design and implement HMI/SCADA systems (WinCC, FactoryTalk, Ignition). Integrate industrial networks (Profinet, Profibus, Ethernet/IP, Modbus, EtherCAT, CANopen). Create and review electrical schematics, panel layouts, and documentation. Support system commissioning, FAT/SAT, and on-site installation. Collaborate with mechanical, design, and project teams for seamless integration. Ensure compliance with safety standards and best engineering practices. Provide technical support, troubleshooting, and operator training. Required Qualifications: B.E/B.Tech in Electrical, Electronics, Instrumentation, Mechatronics, or Automation (M.Tech/diploma preferred). Hands-on experience with major PLC brands and programming languages (Ladder Logic, FBD, Structured Text, SFC). Strong understanding of robotics, motion control, VFDs, and industrial automation. Experience with documentation, version control, and structured code. Good communication, troubleshooting, and teamwork skills. Experience Levels: Entry (0–2 yrs): Basic programming, panel wiring. Mid (3–6 yrs): Full PLC development, commissioning, troubleshooting. Senior (7+ yrs): System design, safety PLC, team management, robotics integration.
