Role & responsibilities Reviewing line plan for style change over. Preparation of Operation Bulletin and verifying with Factory Head. Preparation of thread and trims consumption report and verifying with Factory Head. Responsible of line balancing. Preparation of efficiency reports and WIP reports. Planning for special machines and folders in advance before style change over. Frequent follow up for reaching peak efficiency after each style change over. Frequent follow up for maintaining WIP in all the allocated lines to achieve higher efficiency. Periodical skill analysis of sewing operators for skill up gradation. Coordinating with AMMT to fill the manpower based on skill requirements Educating production team about efficiency and working on continuous improvement of efficiency. Monitoring hourly production and minimizing down times. Reporting status to Factory Head. Operator skill matrices should be updated in regular intervals. New operators Skill should be check, to Place in the sewing line. The factory IE department Goals should be updated on monthly basis. Preferred candidate profile Bachelors degree in Industrial Engineering/ Production Engineering 12-15 years of experience as an IE in a garment manufacturing setup. Strong knowledge of garment production processes and operation breakdowns. Skilled in time study, method study, line balancing, and efficiency tracking. Familiar with lean manufacturing principles and productivity tools. Proficient in MS Excel, and experience with IE software like GSD, Pro-SMV, or ERP systems.
