Position/ Skillset: Audit / Tax / Compliance

Designation: Article Assistant

Overview

Mercurius & Associates LLP, formerly known as AJSH & Co LLP, is looking for Article Assistants to gain hands-on exposure across Audit, Taxation, ROC Compliance, Accounting, and other professional services.

The role provides an opportunity to work on diverse assignments for companies and LLPs while developing practical knowledge of audit, taxation, compliance, and accounting processes.

Key Responsibilities

Audit

Work on GST Audits, Statutory Audits, Tax Audits, US GAAP Audits, PCAOB Audits, Bank Audits, and Internal Control Audits.
Assist in audit assignments for companies and LLPs.
Prepare audit documentation, working papers, and supporting schedules.
Assist in identifying audit observations and ensuring compliance with applicable standards and requirements.

ROC Compliance

Assist in filing various ROC forms and annual returns.
Support company and LLP incorporation processes.
Assist with other statutory and regulatory compliance requirements.

Direct & Indirect Taxes

Assist in preparation of GST computations and returns.
Support Income Tax assessments, including demands and refunds.
Assist in preparation and filing of Income Tax Returns, GST Returns, and TDS Returns.
Gain practical exposure to various direct and indirect taxation matters.

Other Related Tasks

Assist in accounting and related financial activities.
Prepare Net Worth Certificates for individuals.
Assist in Transfer Pricing assignments.
Support various registrations, including MSME, Shop & Establishment, FSSAI licenses, and other registrations.

Skills

Good oral and written communication skills.
Strong analytical and numerical ability.
Attention to detail and willingness to learn.
Basic understanding of accounting, audit, and taxation principles.
Ability to work effectively in a team and manage multiple assignments.

Eligibility

Must have cleared both groups of IPCC.
Candidates should be interested in pursuing their articleship with exposure to Audit, Taxation, ROC Compliance, and Accounting.

Stipend

1st Year: Rs. 8,000/- per month
2nd Year: Rs. 10,000/- per month
