Role Responsibilities Develop and implement engaging art curricula for students at different skill levels. Teach various art and craft techniques, including painting, drawing, and sculpting. Organize and manage art supplies and classroom materials effectively. Encourage creativity and self-expression in students through individual and group projects. Assess and evaluate students' artwork and progress regularly. Foster a positive and supportive classroom environment. Incorporate art history and appreciation into lessons to enhance students' understanding. Integrate technology into the art curriculum where appropriate. Communicate effectively with students, parents, and faculty about student progress. Conduct art exhibitions to showcase students' work to the community. Provide constructive feedback to students to encourage growth. Adapt lessons to accommodate students with diverse needs. Collaborate with other teachers to integrate art into other subjects. Stay updated with current trends and techniques in the art education field. Engage in professional development opportunities to enhance teaching skills. Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Fine Arts or Art Education. Minimum of 2 years of experience teaching art and craft at a school or educational institution. Strong portfolio demonstrating personal and student artwork. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Proficient in various art mediums and techniques. Ability to inspire and motivate students. Experience in curriculum development and lesson planning. Knowledge of art history and appreciation. Strong organizational skills and attention to detail. Familiarity with assessment strategies in art education. Ability to work collaboratively with colleagues and parents. Willingness to participate in school events and art shows. Creative problem-solving abilities. Passion for teaching and commitment to student success. Flexibility to adapt to changing schedules and student needs. Strong classroom management techniques.
