Role Description This is a full-time on-site role for an Underwriter located in Gurugram. The Underwriter will be responsible for evaluating insurance applications, assessing risk to determine coverage terms, reviewing and analyzing policy terms, and collaborating with agents and brokers to provide suitable insurance solutions. The Underwriter will also maintain records of underwriting decisions, provide training and support to junior underwriters, and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and company guidelines. Qualifications Strong analytical and decision-making skills to evaluate insurance applications and assess risk Experience in reviewing and analyzing policy terms and conditions Knowledge of insurance regulations and compliance requirements Effective communication and collaboration skills to work with agents and brokers Ability to maintain accurate and up-to-date records Previous experience in underwriting and insurance industry preferred Bachelor's degree in Insurance, Finance, Business Administration or related field Proficiency in using underwriting software and tools
