Roles and Responsibilities Ability to develop and/or follow a project plan knowing the importance of setting and meeting milestone dates.Co-develop successive releases of controls software products in coordination with product champions. This includes the performance of complex design, maintenance, enhancement, testing, implementation, and support of these products. Experience in the design and development of controls based on physical layouts is expected.Software must be well structured, easy to understand and well documented.Develop software tools for the rapid deployment of controls software products for testing and applications environments.Ability to baseline existing systems, make needed improvements to stabilize/upgrade existing systems. This will require the ability to complete a complex review of requirements and limitations to determine that the systems perform optimally.Complete the quality process through the execution of module, subsystem, and system test procedures including customer site commissioning when required.Ability to produce all documentation required as part of the development process including detailed design specifications, test documents and descriptions of operation.Complete estimates for modules under development and especially own work. Preferred experience in the following: Profinet, ProfiBus, and ASi,Experience designing and developing software using a higher level language such as C, C++, Visual Basic or Java. Experience in real time applications preferred.Experience in automated testing including scripting is beneficial.Experience in an agile development environment is beneficial.Experience in HMI/SCADA programming is beneficial (Iconics, Wonderware, RSView, WinCC or Citect).Bachelor or higher degree in electrical or mechatronics engineering, computer science or similar discipline.Honors level preferred

ROLE RESPONSIBILITIESTravel to site as & when required,Ensure safe unloading of required project material at site, with prior approval of lifting plan, work permitfrom customer safety dept, hydra inspection as per checklist, inspection of form 11,Ensure the use of appropriate PPEs by all employees,Prepare JSA of the activities performed at site along with site project Engineer, get approved fromcustomer safety dept,Conduct medical check-up & vertigo test of site employee along with the site project Engineer.Ensure that all work permits are granted at the start of the day.Conduct daily toolbox talks in the morning and awareness training as per the training calendar for allemployees.Ensure the use of correct work procedures and SOP's with safety measures.Conduct daily site rounds to identify and address unsafe conditions, unsafe acts, and near-miss cases;inform the concerned department for immediate action and follow up for implementation.Ensure visual display are present in and around the site to raise employee awareness.Ensure firefighting extinguishers are checked and refilled as per the schedule by an external party.Ensure the use of LOTO (Lockout-Tag out) and electrical safety protocols at the site.Keep track of PPE consumption.Maintain records of compliance, training, and before-and-after photographs.Ensure the implementation of appropriate and good work practices.Investigate accident incident, information to EHS head, HR, Site Engineer, action implementation fromconcern dept,Ensure employee should participate in mock drills as conducted by the customer; maintain observationand action implementation records.Ensure the celebration of National Safety Week/Day and World Environment Day as per the schedule,with various employee programs to create awareness about safety, health, and environmentalprotection.Handle plant responsibilities as instructed by the EHS head.
