Role & responsibilities Assist the project architect/Jr. Architect to prepare schematic drawings and any other drawings required for presentation. After finalisation of the schematic layout, prepare approval drawings. Obtain all necessary documents and details required for the same. Prepare detailed list of drawings of the project in co-ordination with the project architect. Also provide specific target dates for the completion of the drawings. Follow the status of the approval drawings with the concerned team at regular intervals. Take responsibility of the approval drawings and make sure it is submitted on time. Follow-up regularly on the status of approval and intimate the same to the project Architect & creative head. With the concern of the project architect, send the approved scheme to various consultants. The concerned drawing team should start to prepare detailed working drawing with the details provided by the concerned project architect. Co-ordinate with the various external and in-house consultants and get the details and drawings from all the consultants and incorporate it in the working drawings. Release the finalised drawing to the site with 'Good for Construction' seal. Prepare/monitor self and team member's target and time sheet. Responsible for any assigned project and co-ordinate all relevant activities for smooth functioning and to complete the project with utmost satisfaction of the client without compromising the design ideas. Collect project related data from Chief Architect/Client. Prepare a report based on the same along with the data sheet prepared by the drawing section head. Prepare detailed site analysis report. Cross-check/refer all documents, reports and site measurements received with one another before the commencement of the conceptual design. Responsible for preparing schematic drawings with area details, concepts, plan, sections, facade and volumetric analysis along with material science. In the process assist in the evolution of 3D views and presentation drawings. Prepare the list of drawings with the team leader based on the scope of work mentioned in the work order. After finalization of the schematic drawings by the client and Chief Architect, assign the drawing section head to proceed with the statutory drawings. Check if there are any differences in statutory and working drawing with relation to the site and give the necessary instructions to proceed further with corrective actions if required. Delegate/assign work to interface/junior Architect/Team Leader and get the required assistance from them regularly. Guide the team leader for the preparation of working drawings of the approved scheme in co-ordination with the drawing section head. Responsible for monitoring the work progress at the site and office. Co-ordinate with the PMC department in preparation of BOQ and finalise the materials based on the specification given. Make regular site visits to ensure that the site progresses as per schedule and as per the design given. Prepare a report based on the site visit and submit to Chief Architect. Report the completion of various stages of work (as mentioned in the work order) to the accounts department which will aide them to raise invoice at the correct/required time. Conduct regular meetings and motivate the team to enhance the quality output. Make sure that the team leader co-ordinates with the various consultants and get the necessary details/drawings in time. Ensure adherence to the design envisaged and advice on necessary corrections. Take note on the various meetings held with the client about the project and get the desired output which will satisfy self and client. Check the final area statement before issuing the schematic drawing. Check all drawings.
