Role & responsibilities Operate CNC laser cutting machine as per production plan and work orders. Read and interpret engineering drawings, DXF files, and technical documents. Set up machine parameters, cutting programs, and nesting layouts for sheet metal cutting. Select and verify raw material thickness, grade, and dimensions before processing. Perform machine start-up checks, nozzle alignment, focus settings, and gas pressure adjustments. Monitor machine operations to ensure accurate cutting quality and dimensional tolerances. Inspect cut parts using measuring instruments (Vernier, tape, gauges, etc.). Identify and resolve common issues such as burrs, dross, or incomplete cuts. Record production data, material usage, and job completion reports. Follow standard operating procedures (SOP) and adhere to workplace safety guidelines. Carry out routine cleaning, preventive maintenance, and assist in minor troubleshooting. Coordinate with production and quality teams to ensure timely delivery. Maintain 5S practices and proper housekeeping in the work area. Role & responsibilities Perform welding operations (MIG, TIG welding) as per job requirements and specifications. Read and interpret engineering drawings, welding symbols, and work instructions. Set up welding machines, select appropriate electrodes/wire, and adjust parameters as per material type and thickness. Weld sheet metal, structures, and fabricated components to required quality standards. Inspect welded joints visually and with measuring instruments for accuracy and finish. Identify welding defects (porosity, cracks, undercut, etc.) and take corrective actions. Maintain proper handling of tools, equipment, and welding consumables. Follow standard operating procedures (SOP) and comply with safety guidelines, including PPE usage. Carry out grinding, finishing, and cleaning of welded parts as required. Support fabrication and assembly teams in completing production tasks. Maintain production records and report job completion status. Keep work area clean, organized, and follow 5S practices.
