Role & responsibilities Lead and execute mechanical design and engineering activities for onshore and offshore oil & gas facilities. Prepare and review mechanical design deliverables including specifications, datasheets, equipment layouts, P&IDs, and 3D models. Perform design calculations for static and rotating equipment, pressure vessels, heat exchangers, and piping systems. Ensure all designs comply with international codes and standards (ASME, API, ISO etc.) and client specifications. Review and approve vendor documents, technical bids, and equipment drawings. Ensure quality assurance, safety, and environmental compliance across all design activities. Drive continuous improvement by developing and updating mechanical design standards and best practices. Preferred candidate profile Bachelors Degree in Mechanical Engineering (Masters degree preferred).
