Job Summary The Formulator is responsible for preparing, mixing, and developing formulations as per approved recipes, technical specifications, and quality standards. The role ensures correct material usage, batch accuracy, process consistency, and compliance with safety and regulatory requirements. Key Responsibilities Prepare formulations according to approved formulas, batch sheets, and SOPs Accurately weigh, measure, and mix raw materials Monitor formulation parameters such as temperature, time, sequence, and consistency Ensure batch accuracy and minimize wastage Record batch details in production logs and formulation sheets Coordinate with Quality Control (QC) for sample testing and approvals Identify and report process deviations or formulation issues Maintain cleanliness of formulation area, tools, and equipment Follow safety guidelines , PPE usage, and statutory compliance Support trial batches, improvements, and new product development Assist in inventory control of formulation raw materials Evaluation of Formulations Skills & Competencies Strong understanding of formulation processes Basic knowledge of chemicals / ingredients / raw materials Ability to follow SOPs and batch records accurately Good numerical and measurement skills Awareness of quality, safety, and compliance standards Ability to work independently and in a team Educational Qualification Diploma / B.Sc / B.Tech in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, Pharmacy, or related field ITI or equivalent experience may be considered for shop-floor formulation roles Experience 8+ years: Senior Formulator / Lead Job Types: Full-time, Permanent Pay: ₹35,000.00 - ₹55,000.00 per month Work Location: In person
