Job Title: Procurement Manager ( Ground Mount Projects ) Location: Mumbai Department: Projects Required: min 5 Years (Solar Projects Must ) Qualification: Diploma / B.E. Key responsibilities :- Procurement strategy and planning Developing and implementing a comprehensive procurement strategy aligned with the company's objectives and project requirements. Analyzing market trends, supplier landscapes, and cost structures to inform efficient purchasing decisions. Setting procurement goals and Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) to drive continuous improvement. Vendor management and negotiation The department is responsible for identifying, evaluating, and managing vendors and suppliers for solar project materials. This includes negotiating contracts, pricing, and terms for cost efficiency and monitoring vendor performance. Purchase operations and process optimization Key tasks include overseeing the entire procurement cycle, ensuring accurate documentation and reporting, and streamlining processes for efficiency. Cost control and budgeting This involves developing and managing procurement budgets and identifying cost-saving opportunities. Compliance and risk management Ensuring compliance with policies and regulations and mitigating risks by monitoring vendor performance and implementing controls. Inventory and supply chain coordination Collaboration with other teams is essential to optimize inventory and ensure timely delivery of materials. Team leadership and development (for management roles) This includes leading and mentoring the team, providing training, and monitoring productivity. Key skills and qualifications Required qualifications typically include a relevant bachelor's degree, experience in procurement (preferably in solar), strong negotiation and contract management skills, knowledge of solar components and standards, familiarity with relevant software, excellent communication and analytical skills, and an understanding of industry regulations.
