Role Overview The Technical Analyst will lead technical research and development (R&D), evaluate and analyze vendors, platforms and partners, and recommend best-fit solutions for our SaaS web applications in hyper-personalization and automation. You will work closely with product, engineering, and business teams to ensure our technology choices align with business goals and keep us at the forefront of innovation, especially in the AI, Cloud, Observability and Hyper-Personalization space. To move quickly and make smart bets we need a Technical Analyst who can systematically evaluate technologies, vendors, and architectural options, then translate findings into clear decisions the whole company can act on. Key Responsibilities Conduct technical research and comparative analysis of third-party vendors, partners, and new technologies relevant to AI, Automation, Observability and Cloud. Identify candidate tools, APIs, and platforms. Build quick POCs with our product and engineering team, run cost/perf benchmarks, document trade-offs, and recommend go / no-go. Evaluate and recommend solutions for integration, scalability, and performance, with a focus on our core tech stack: PHP, MySQL, JavaScript, React, AWS (including observability/monitoring), Dynatrace, GitHub, IDEs, Google platforms and solutions such as Workspace, Google Web Scripts, Google BigQuery. Architecture & Data Design Support Work with engineering and business teams to shape technical specs for new features (PHP/React/microservices on AWS), Google BigQuery, ensuring scalability, security, and observability via Dynatrace and CloudWatch. Analyze, design, and document technical architectures for new features and AI-driven solutions, including RAGs, Langchain, MCPs, A2A, Vector DBs so as to build complete agentic AI systems. Assist with creating AI driven automation for internal workflows, observability and monitoring, Agentic workflows, and for our apps by way of automatic, real-time, hyper-personalized campaigns on-the-fly. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate business requirements into technical specifications and actionable project plans. Integration & Partner Management Own the technical relationship with third-party vendors (Clouds, ESPs, Dynatrace, etc.). Define integration contracts, validate SDKs/Webhooks, and oversee sandbox tests. Lead technical due diligence for potential vendors, partners and platforms/environments, including proof-of-concept evaluations and risk assessments Support the development team with technical insights, troubleshooting, and best practices for AI based automated integration and deployment. Monitor and report on system performance, identifying areas for improvement and optimization Stay updated on emerging technologies, especially in AI/ML, Automation, Observability and Cloud and proactively propose innovative solutions that align with our business objectives. Create and manage knowledge repos so that the team s knowledge continues to be bleeding-edge. Required Skills & Qualifications (Essential criteria) 4+ years in a Technical Analyst, Solutions Engineer, or similar R&D role within a cloud-based software delivery environment. Bachelor s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field from a premier institution. Must have the curiosity and hunger to learn and embrace new concepts, technologies, and platforms. Strong experience with SaaS/web application architectures and AWS cloud infrastructure . Must have worked in a GitHub SDLC and CI/CD pipelines and should have done AI and automation in the Github environment. Proficiency with PHP, MySQL, JavaScript, React, and related web technologies so as to be able to read and prototype code Hands-on experience with observability and monitoring tools (e.g., Dynatrace) Demonstrated experience evaluating and integrating third-party APIs, vendors, and partners. Experience in AI/ML, including knowledge of RAGs, Langchain, and agentic AI architectures. Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills, with the ability to bridge business and technical teams. Experience evaluating APIs, SDKs, and SaaS vendors you know how to interpret docs, rate-limit tables, SLAs, and pricing tiers. Should have worked on automation projects using tools such as N8N, Make, etc. Clear, concise technical writing your comparison docs and decision memos help teams move fast with confidence. Preferred Skills & Qualifications Exposure to Google Apps Script, Workspace add-ons, or GCP data products (BigQuery, Pub/Sub, Dataflow) Prior exposure to loyalty, referral, gamification, or contest platforms. Experience with cloud security and compliance best practices.
