Project Role : Application Lead Project Role Description : Lead the effort to design, build and configure applications, acting as the primary point of contact. Must have skills : Test Automation Strategy, Java Standard Edition, Python (Programming Language) Good to have skills : NAMinimum 7.5 year(s) of experience is required Educational Qualification : 15 years full time education Summary :As an Application Lead, you will lead the effort to design, build, and configure applications, acting as the primary point of contact. Your typical day will involve collaborating with various teams to ensure that application development aligns with business objectives, overseeing project timelines, and facilitating communication among stakeholders to drive project success. You will also engage in problem-solving activities, ensuring that the applications meet quality standards and user requirements while fostering a collaborative environment for your team. Roles & Responsibilities:- Expected to be an SME.- Collaborate and manage the team to perform.- Responsible for team decisions.- Engage with multiple teams and contribute on key decisions.- Provide solutions to problems for their immediate team and across multiple teams.- Mentor junior team members to enhance their skills and knowledge.- Continuously assess and improve application development processes to increase efficiency. Professional & Technical Skills: - Must To Have Skills: Proficiency in Test Automation Strategy, Python (Programming Language), Java Standard Edition.- Experience with automated testing frameworks and tools.- Strong understanding of software development life cycle methodologies.- Ability to analyze and troubleshoot complex application issues.- Familiarity with continuous integration and continuous deployment practices.-Expertise developing automated test scripts using Selenium, Cucumber, Java scripting, node.js, python, java xml and json. Preferably integration to Jenkins and Sauce labs.- Experience with API virtualization or mocking (CA DevTest/Parasoft Virtualize/WireMock/Hoverfly)- Proficiency in API testing and automation using REST-assured or similar tools.- Strong scripting skills and experience with version control systems like Git.- Expertise in Selenium WebDriver and a strong understanding of Java- Experience with different types of automated testing (e.g., Functional, Behavior Driven, Integration, End-to-End) is required.- AWS and Cucumber (BDD) experience.- Experience in integrating tools like DevOps platforms, JIRA/Zephyr to the existing or newly built Automation framework- Experience with Docker, Containers and Images- Experience in Git based source control tools like GitLab/GitHub/Bitbucket.- Experience with CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins/Gitlab for automated test executions.- Experience in building tools like Maven/Gradle.- Experience with Relational Database/SQL/NoSQL/backend testing.- Hands-on experience with API testing tools such as Postman/Insomnia.- Working experience with JIRA/Rally or equivalent tools.- Analyze test results, identify issues and trends, and report them to stakeholders.- Experience developing Java code with the latest web design concepts. Additional skills to have:-Service Virtualization (Developer skill)-AWS - Devops Skill- Devops - Docker, Containers and Images -Java Developer - Web Designs- Relational Database/SQL/NoSQL/backend testing. Additional Information:- The candidate should have minimum 7.5 years of experience in Test Automation Strategy.- This position is based in Hyderabad.- A 15 years full time education is required.
