Application Developer

The Full Stack Application Engineer role at Rockwell Automation involves developing reliable and scalable platforms for building main systems and services across the company. As part of the Demand to Renew project, you will collaborate with a team of engineers, technical leaders, and analysts to introduce new features for both internal and external customers while ensuring the security and stability of applications. Your responsibilities will include prototyping, developing, and maintaining platforms for business capabilities, conducting peer-level architectural reviews, interpreting functional requirements into technical solutions, and mentoring others in tools. Operating within an agile team, you will prioritize quality and security in daily work, troubleshoot roadblocks to deliver incremental value, and address system anomalies such as bugs, security issues, and performance concerns. Additionally, you will be expected to contribute to the reduction of technical debt, present your design ideas to various IT groups, develop test strategies in collaboration with QA engineers, and write unit/functional tests to enhance coverage and automation metrics. Reporting to the Manager-IT/Team Lead-IT, this individual role does not entail any managerial responsibilities. The ideal candidate for this position should possess at least 4 years of experience, with expertise in C#, .NET Framework/Core, Asp.Net, API, MS SQL, Azure Cloud, Azure DevOps, regression testing, and integration testing. Essential qualifications include effective communication skills, a continuous improvement mindset, and the ability to approach problems from multiple perspectives to evaluate different solutions. Preferred qualifications include familiarity with Mulesoft, Hybris, and version control tools.
