Application Developer-Base24 EPS and UPF

The role of an RPS Base24 UPF Senior Analyst Engineer in Bengaluru involves designing, developing, and enhancing technology applications and services within a structured change management environment. You will be responsible for designing, developing, testing, and implementing acquiring application software that supports critical banking services like ATMs, EFTPOS, E-commerce Gateways, and interfaces with various downstream applications for authorization, reporting, fraud detection, settlement, and reconciliation. Your core responsibilities will include designing, estimating, coding, and testing enhancement/development projects for acquiring applications such as Base24 EPS and UPF, which are implemented on Cloud Technology platforms like Azure and AWS. Proficiency in Groovy, C++, and Linux platforms is essential for this role. You will also be required to create support documentation, offer guidance for smooth application support, and contribute to design and development to ensure high-quality, supportable changes are delivered into production. Additionally, you will need to continuously review and improve processes to enhance team productivity and efficiency. Your deliverables will include the successful implementation of projects with full business benefits realization, development of tools and processes for seamless delivery platform execution, high-quality design, development, and software delivery, enhancements in tools and work environment, as well as proper documentation of key processes and implementation of team operating procedures. To excel in this role, you should possess 7 to 10+ years of relevant software development experience in a Tier 1 Bank, with a minimum of 3 years of experience working with Base24 EPS and/or UPF. Hands-on experience with Cloud Technologies like AWS and Azure is required. Strong programming skills in Java, Groovy, and C++ are essential, along with experience in DevOps and CI/CD tools such as Jenkins. An understanding of the software development lifecycle (development, testing, implementation, and production support) and in-depth knowledge of the Acquiring business will be beneficial for this position.,
