Job Description

Position : API-Based QA Automation Engineer (Python) Overview : We are seeking a skilled QA Automation Engineer with expertise in API testing using Python. The candidate will be responsible for designing and implementing automated test scripts to ensure the quality and performance of our API services. Key Responsibilities : - Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts for API testing using Python. - Set up and enhance automation frameworks such as PyTest and Robot Framework for API testing. - Develop and execute comprehensive test plans and test cases for API functionalities. - Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand API requirements and functionality. - Identify, document, and track defects and issues through resolution. - Perform functional, regression, integration, and performance testing on APIs. - Ensure continuous integration and continuous delivery (CI/CD) practices are followed. - Contribute to the improvement of QA processes and methodologies for API testing. Requirements : - Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field. - Proven experience in QA automation with a focus on Python for API testing. - Strong understanding of QA methodologies, tools, and processes for API testing. - Experience with automation frameworks such as PyTest or similar. - Familiarity with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, AzureDevOps. - Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail. - Ability to grasp complex functional knowledge quickly. - Strong communication and collaboration skills. - Basics of payments gateway such as - UPI Switch Transition, Biller Management System, Mandate Unification System, Wallet Aggregation
